The NTi Audio XL3 is a professional sound level meter and acoustic analyzer dedicated to noise measurements, room acoustics and building acoustics applications. The intuitive user interface is optimized for basic noise monitoring applications as well as offering extensive analysis tools for professionals. The sound level meter is fully networked and therefore allows operation and data access from any mobile device.

Smart User Interface

The large 4.3" IPS color touch display offers an excellent resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. This allows the intuitive control of all measurement functions in multiple languages and presents noise level readings in large, clear digits. Select between a traditional white, blue or black background theme - just as you might do on your smartphone. An additional haptic keypad with eight buttons controls the common instrument functions, such as power on/off for the XL3 and start/stop for the measurement.

Be Connected

The NTi Audio XL3 includes an integrated web server and file server accessible through the instrument's built-in Wi-Fi or LAN connectivity. Just use your preferred web browser and connect to the sound level meter through the NTi Connect service. The instrument can be controlled by an authorized user from anywhere in the world. Alternatively, you can connect directly to the device's IP Address through your local network – e.g., in building acoustics, the impact sound level measurement can be started directly from the sending room.

All measurement data can be easily downloaded without interruption to an ongoing measurement. To log prevailing weather conditions, a weather station can be added. Additionally, the online XL3 synchronizes to the actual time automatically using the ntp protocol. This and the optional APIs for controlling the instrument to retrieve historical and current noise, audio and weather data simplifies the integration into monitoring systems.

Open Data Format

All measurement data is stored in an open txt-format on a removable 32 GB SD card for download via USB-C. This capacity can be increased to terabytes of storage with a larger SD card or an external SSD. Additionally, an audio signal is recorded.

The NTi Audio XL3 is optimized for integration into customized noise monitoring applications - the sound level readings may be optionally streamed in an efficient binary format. At the same time the live audio is available online for identifying annoying noise sources.

Swiss Precision Engineering

This sound level meter builds on the latest processor and display technologies to provide a comfortable user experience. High-performance hardware packed in a robust housing offers precise 96 kHz data sampling in 32-bit resolution. With a frequency range from 0.3 Hz – 45 kHz, the XL3 is prepared for infra and ultra sound measurements. With single-range measurement and the automated sensor detection reading the electronic data sheet from the connected measurement microphone, the NTi Audio XL3 Acoustic Analyzer is indeed the equivalent of a Swiss Army knife for noise measurement professionals.

ORDER PROCESSING

Orders placed though the Amber Technology website are despatched from our Auckland warehouse.

    • Orders received before 12:00 PM (midday) will be processed for same-day shipping.
    • Orders received after after 12:00 PM will be processed for shipping on the following business day.
We ship using Mainfreight & Bascik for Screens and NZ Post for all other orders. We deliver New Zealand-wide to residential, business but do not ship to PO box addresses.

FREIGHT CHARGES

Standard Orders:

    • Orders valued over $250 ex GST: Freight-Free (excluding bulky or palletised items)
    • Orders valued under $250 ex GST: Flat shipping fee of $20.00 ex GST applies

Dropship Orders:

    • An additional $20.00 ex GST fee applies for all drop ship orders

Bulky Items, Fragile Freight & Palletised Orders:

WARRANTY

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the New Zealand Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. All items purchased from Amber Technology will be covered under warranty. The duration and terms of this warranty are specified by the manufacturer unless otherwise stated. Warranty information is available on the individual product listings on this site. Refurbished items will include a 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. For warranty repairs for all brands, please download our service form and email to service@amber.co.nz. An RMA number will be issued for the repairs to commence. Do not send stock before receiving an RMA number. Further instructions will be emailed to you following receipt of the form.

STOCK AVAILABILITY

The availability of stock is communicated via the indicator of each product listing page. "Available" means that reasonable stock is in our warehouse, ready for immediate shipment. "Limited Stock" means that we have only a small number of items in stock. "Out of Stock" means this item is currently unavailable for immediate shipment - orders placed for ‘Out of Stock’ items will be fulfilled as soon as replacement stock arrives. Special Order” items are products that are not generally kept in stock in New Zealand. Lead times for Special Order items vary depending on country of origin, manufacturer’s stock levels, factory production schedules and/or incoming shipment transit times. Please contact us for an estimate as to the likely lead time.

REFURBISHED ITEMS

If refurbished stock is available, this will be shown on the summary page for the product. If a product listing only allows you to choose refurbished stock, we are not holding new stock and we can no longer obtain new stock.

Refurbished items are always in perfect working order and will include all accessories. Refurbished items may:

    • have a damaged carton
    • have been used for demonstrations
    • have been repaired
    • have minor imperfections that do not impact performance

Refurbished items include a 12-Month warranty unless otherwise stated.
