JOE WALSH ALLIANCE SERIES

SEMI-HOLLOW CONSTRUCTION
The Joe Walsh Alliance Series features an unusual extra slim semi-hollow construction. Besides the unique semi-hollow tone, this makes the guitar handle more like a thin solid-body.

PICKUPS
The LittleToaster mini-humbucker and SingleTwin Mini noiseless singlecoil deliver an extremely open, responsive and transparent tone. They are one of the most curious combinations in the Duesenberg lineup.

PLEK PROCESSED
A pleked fretboard guarantees perfectly level frets. This is the basis for our fret polishing and setup work all done by hand that eventually makes our instruments play like nothing you have ever played before.

“A COFFEE WITH JOE”

What’s not to like about sitting in a hotel room with Mr. Joe Walsh and talk guitars? Seriously though, meeting Joe was a real privilege. The result of our collaboration is a truly unique instrument directly fitted to Joe’s needs but made for everyone.

The Joe Walsh Alliance Series features numerous different details connected to Joe’s style or history. The fretboard inlays spell his name in morsecode, referencing his passion for radio operation and the Tibetan Knot between both pickups is a symbol of very personal meaning to Joe which he also carries as a tattoo.

LITTLETOASTER & SINGLETWIN PICKUPS

A Duesenberg LittleToaster pickup delivers transparent treble tone in the bridge position and the state-of-the-art noise-cancelling Duesenberg SingleTwin Mini gives clear classic neck sounds in any situation. These were a requirement from Joe himself.

Being a serious guitarhead himself, he also likes to mess around with the hardware of his guitars, often resulting in weird hardware finish mixes. So for this reason the hardware of the Alliance Joe Walsh is a mix of nickel and gold.

CUSTOM RADIATOR VIBRATO UNIT

THE DUESENBERG RADIATOR TREMOLA IS THE EVOLUTION OF OUR OWN VIBRATO SYSTEM DESIGN.
It keeps everything that you love about about our original Diamond Deluxe Vibrato and delivers it in a new and exciting design. Of course we added custom gold accents on the vibrato for Joe's personal model.

Buttery smooth action, reliable tuning stability and string changes that are a breeze are just the main aspects of our unique vibrato design. Heavy duty needle and nylon bearings give you the highly responsive Duesenberg feel when using the vibrato arm. The arm itself can be turned freely for 360° and can be adjusted to your preferred angle and length. The strings are simply guided through the holes in the bar underneath the arm-axis and can be lead to the tuners without any hassle.

NICKEL HARDWARE

You will find the geometrical three steps in almost every part on our instruments, from the curves on the headstock to the shape of the output jack.

Most of our hardware is Nickel finished. When compared to regular Chrome finishes, Nickel has a beautiful warm and elegant sheen and ages naturally over time. It's the way things were done before Chrome became the standard. If you don't want the hardware on your instrument to age, we recommend regular cleaning.

MADE TO HOLD SOMETHING THAT LASTS
A GOOD CASE IS ONE THAT'S MORE STURDY THAN WHAT'S INSIDE.
Handsome, laid-back and simply a good place for your instrument. Meet the Duesenberg Custom Line Cases. True flightcase quality, classically shaped, beautifully handcrafted and made to endure the most realistic and unrealistic abuses. It's a case you can just throw in the back of a car, train or airplane and won't have to worry about.

This instrument comes including the Duesenberg Custom Line Case as standard.
