WyreStorm Essentials 8K60 HDMI Switcher Series

Our plug-and-play 8K HDMI switcher series has the ability to send uncompressed up to 8K@60Hz or 4K@120Hz resolutions to your display. These switchers also support DSC 1.2a pass-through, an approved method of compression in accordance to the HDMI 2.1 specification, allowing up to a 10K@120Hz signal to be transmitted losslessy.

Ranging in two models with varying number of inputs to choose from, this powerful switcher series also gives you the tools to de-embed audio from your source if there isn’t an option on the source and supports ARC from your display to send to send high quality 5.1 to your audio distribution system. Other features such as auto switching and CEC passthrough makes this WyreStorm Essentials™ switcher series a true and powerful plug-and-play solution.

8K AND BEYOND
Our Essentials 8K switchers not only meet 8K demands but they’re empowered with DSC passthrough, an approved method found in the HDMI 2.1 specification to transmit super-high bandwidth content (up to 10K@120Hz!) producing mathematically lossless content. These switchers also support all High Dynamic Range formats including HDR10+, Dolby Vision and HLG.

HDMI 2.1
In addition to 8K resolution, these switchers support a number HDMI 2.1 technologies including, Auto Low Latency Mode, Variable Refresh Rate, Quick Frame Transport and Quick Media Switching ensuring you can take advantage of all the features your 8K display has to offer.

AUDIO BREAKOUT
To be able to send 8K content from source to display, everything inline is required to be HDMI 2.1 compatible, leading to expensive upgrades including your audio distribution system. With our switchers, no need to upgrade your AVR! Simply utilize the audio de-embed on our switchers to get high quality 5.1 while passing HDMI 2.1 content to your display.

COMPLETE YOUR SETUP
WyreStorm offers HDMI 2.1 cables in a number of different lengths and flavors. Use our passive 2.1 cables for short distances up to 3m (9ft). If you need to go a long distance take advantage of our Active Optical 2.1 cables that can reach 15m (50ft).

ORDER PROCESSING

Orders placed though the Amber Technology website are despatched from our Auckland warehouse.

    • Orders received before 12:00 PM (midday) will be processed for same-day shipping.
    • Orders received after after 12:00 PM will be processed for shipping on the following business day.
We ship using Mainfreight & Bascik for Screens and NZ Post for all other orders. We deliver New Zealand-wide to residential, business but do not ship to PO box addresses.

FREIGHT CHARGES

Standard Orders:

    • Orders valued over $250 ex GST: Freight-Free (excluding bulky or palletised items)
    • Orders valued under $250 ex GST: Flat shipping fee of $20.00 ex GST applies

Dropship Orders:

    • An additional $20.00 ex GST fee applies for all drop ship orders

Bulky Items, Fragile Freight & Palletised Orders:

    • Projection Screens: $30 per screen (nationwide)
    • Newline Displays: $150 per panel (nationwide)

WARRANTY

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the New Zealand Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. All items purchased from Amber Technology will be covered under warranty. The duration and terms of this warranty are specified by the manufacturer unless otherwise stated. Warranty information is available on the individual product listings on this site. Refurbished items will include a 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. For warranty repairs for all brands, please download our Service Form and email to service@amber.co.nz. An RMA number will be issued for the repairs to commence. Do not send stock before receiving an RMA number. Further instructions will be emailed to you following receipt of the form.

STOCK AVAILABILITY

The availability of stock is communicated via the indicator of each product listing page.

    • Available - means that reasonable stock is in our warehouse, ready for immediate shipment.
    • Limited Stock - means that we have only a small number of items in stock.
    • Out of Stock - means this item is currently unavailable for immediate shipment - orders placed for "Out of Stock" items will be fulfilled as soon as replacement stock arrives.
    • Special Order – These products are not generally kept in stock in New Zealand. Lead times vary depending on country of origin, manufacturer stock levels, factory production schedules, and/or incoming shipment transit times. Please contact us for an estimated lead time.
    • In Stock at Supplier - This status indicates the item is not currently in our New Zealand warehouse, but is available from our Australian supplier. This means the product can be sourced and delivered faster than a standard 'Out of Stock' item. The ETA will generally be shorter, making it a viable alternative to waiting for restock from international suppliers.

Please Contact Us if you have received an item which has been damaged in transit or is otherwise not working correctly when you receive it. Subject to availability, we will arrange for a replacement item to be despatched and for the faulty item to be returned to us.
